“Stupid Deaths” Artshow

For the entire month of August, I will be showing my work at Modern Times Coffeehouse at Politics and Prose Bookstore. Once again, I will be launching a brand new series of multi-medium screen prints in support of the non-profit organization Partners In Health (PIH). It is a continuation of the “We’re All Human Beings” series from May and will be focused on the simple solutions to “Stupid Deaths” in poor communities and countries.
 
The prints speak to major issues these countries and communities face that have simple solutions— issues such as HIV/AIDS, access to water and food, curable diseases, and the cost of drugs.
 
Starting August 1, the series will be available for pre-sale, during which time each print will be $40, with a 50% donation to Partners In Health. However, any offer of $55 or more will have an 80% donation of that offered amount to PIH. This offer will only last during the pre-sale.
 
The “Stupid Deaths” opening reception is Saturday, August 13th, 6:00pm, at which time all prints will be $40 with 40% being donated to PIH.

Cash, as well as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover will all be accepted at the opening reception. However a small fee of 2.75% will be added for all credit card transactions (which is little more than $1), this is a processing fee that is being forced on me for the service. No checks.
